As requested recently, an LED watch application. It's very easy to read: the first column corresponds to the hour, while the remaining 5 columns are the minutes.
IMPORTANT: This is VGA-compatible only. Sorry, but it's too much effort to make something like this DPI-aware. If there's enough demand I'll fix it. Download Version 0.5 ![]() ![]() ![]() New in version 0.5 (27/7):
If you have any specific questions you can send me a PM here, or email david [at] androidgamer [dot] org. Last edited by David Horn; 27th July 2009 at 05:15 PM.. Reason: New version |

Just realised I can fix the time update without messing around with threads, and this'll sort out another glitch at the same time. Will update later today or tomorrow.

@David Horn:
My English is not good so I'll try to explain and I hope you can understand: The first round ( the farest ) is hour The second round is the min ( x1 min - maximum = 9 ) The third round is the min ( x10 mins - maximum = 5 ) At the sample above: the time is 10h:36PM. The LED at 10 position of second round is display AM / PM - it's on when the time is PM. Or you can read its manual here: http://www.tokyoflash.com/pages/000034/000034.pdf http://www.tokyoflash.com/en/watches/s-mode/oberon/ |

Hi David, good work. Dont be discoraged by the lack of responses.
Now a few sugestions if i may... Perhaps a background image in the form of a watch (with actionable buttons?) would be a nice addition & make the LEDs more LED like - to add some polish! Also, you may wish to put some logic into the design to allow skinning so we can end up with the whole TokyoFlash shebang ![]() My personal favourite. [edit] Nearly forgot, this would probably be a good candidate for a CHOME / Titanium plugin!

David, great app!
I've actually got the Pimpin aint easy watch so to have it on my phone too is wicked ![]() If this could sit in a Manilla tab it would be awesome! Oh and for what it's worth, on the actual watch, when you press the button to display the time, the LEDs light up in a circular motion from the centre outwards. Dunno if that's something you want to add? Have you thought about doing the Saishin Diode too?
