Default Extended Battery

Anyone found one for the TP2? Preferably one that does not require a different back cover.

Thank you.

A second question I'd ask is:

If you've got the Euro or Asian version of the phone, are the Sprint/AT&T extended batteries and accessories compatible with the overseas models of the phone?
There is no spoon and the cake is a lie

HTC TP2 -> HTC HD2 -> Samsung Galaxy Tab 7

I am buying this. @ 2800mAh this thing is going to make the TP2 mint. And this vendor is really good and reliable. Tracyandmatt.co.uk bought one for their Touch Diamond 2 which is 2200mAh and they have had no problems with their phone. You get a new back cover for the TP2 with the battery for the price. New back cover is not as flash as the original but hey, much better battery.

Take a look at this site, maybe it is something to use with your tp2.

My main concern with a change in battery cover is the sound quality for the speaker phone.

Any personal experience?

I highly doubt the 2800mAh for this battery. It's simply too cheap to be good. A really good battery with all the electronics inside and a high energy density which is shipped with a backcover should at least cost about 50(EUR) to be cost-effective for the manufacturer -otherwise there have never been engineering thinking and technological knowledge which would reduce the costs but the quality too.
Of course, you can try it and maybe it's better than the original one (it's bigger anyway) but I, personally, would never use it for my phone.

I have just ordered the 2800mAh battery I'll give you guys a full review of it when receiving it, including any effects on the rear speaker sound quality.

Yeah, I would like to read a review about the extended batteries.
Maybe you have the possibility to check the milliamps hour (mAh) with a device, to see if it really has the 2800 [mAh] the manufacturer states
