PointUI freezes, right? That's not really "frozen", it's a bug in PointUI. When trying to scroll through a list (usually the Applications list), scrolling freezes, and no touches on the screen are registered. But, it still works by using your D-Pad. So, go up to the Return arrow with your D-Pad, and then your touchscreen will be working again.

alrighty bro then yea post ur new rom man with the PIM backup the contact and opera mini man thats all it need to b a perfect rom man and if u have a LZX it would b awsome i have an idea u should make a wm 6.5 rite n have the pointui v1.5 overlapping it instead of using da default wm 6.5 cuz it takes lots of ram n pointui doesnt

Didn't realize that PIM Backup was removed. I'll try to include it, maybe in v 2.0

Opera Mini will be included in v 2.0 also.


V 1.5 is almost done. It includes just about complete skinning, some other tweaks, etc. I can post a full changes log when I upload it.

PointROM v 1.5 is UP! Try it out! Has some improvements, as you can see in the Change Log...

• Removed CommManager (PointUI has one).
• Created a PointUI spash screen.
• Themed Windows Mobile to match PointUI more.
• Themed almost all of the dialer to match PointUI.
• Removed Sample Pictures.
• Replaced the Live Search icon in Internet Explorer with the Bing icon.
• Completely themed the default Call Log inside the default WinMo dialer to match PointUI.

And there's probably some more changes, too. I try to list out every little thing that I do in a .txt file, so it's very thorough.

Screenshots will be up on v 2.0, lets say. I'm shooting for making v 2.0 a non-pre-release.

DOWNLOAD v 1.5 --- LZX Version LZX Version must be flashed through storage card.

Eh, the ROM would have to be made on Windows Mobile 6.5, then. WM6.5 has finger friendly tweaks for soft menus and all. I can try to space out the menus more, but it won't be as perfect as WM6.5.
