Midomi from the Samsung Omnia II :

Midomi is a Windows Mobile app, which lets you hum or play a song to get the song’s title and artist name.
This is the same app found on the new Samsung Omnia II

Features:

- hum songs to identify
- play song from radio or media player to identify
- lists multiple results after database search

Its seems that the original link does not work so I have added a mirror in rapidshare. As Ikkari has said, still only works via WIFI.

Update:

Midomi recently became a PAID app

You'll find it in the Windows Mobile Marketplace for $5.99 Therefore I have to remove the link. Btw when it was free it was just good, but not good enough to pay for it, sometime works sometime doesn´'t. I won't pay 6 bucks for it unless they will provide a higher accuaracy and precision version.

I never got shazam to work, but this works perfectly in combination with WIFI. Thanks for sharing!

Hi new to the forum, I have a stock rom i910 and have unlimited data plan.. I installed the program, but it caused the musicid to stop working. Is there a fix for this? I would like to have both apps one for wifi one for 3g. Also the picture for the musicid app changed is there anyway to restore it?

I installed Midomi on my touch pro and its running perfectly without havung to use wifi mind you!! all systems a go here, this app beats musicid in many ways an its free which makes it even better!!

I have touch hd, and it wont let me installl this app. Stock rom.it says: cannot install samsung_midomi.cab. any solution?
