is there a way to get it back on a rooted phone? worked great before root but now nothing. im running jacxhero 1.2.

u probably have to set it up manually. i had to.

incoming : imap.mail.yahoo.com port: 143 security type : tls if available

outgoing : smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com port: 25 security type : tls if available

Yahoo also just recently changed their forwarding options for POP which I understand it as you need to have a paid account in order to use POP...one of the reasons I switched over to gmail permanently. If you have a paid account, then the suggestion above is probably the way to go

here is what you do

1 go to mail app

2 select pop/imap

3 type in your email and pw

4 push manual setup

5. for protocol select imap

6. for imap server type in:
imap.mail.yahoo.com

7/for security put none and server port should be 143 now and hit next

8 for SMTP server type:
smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com

9 Security type none and server port should now be 25. hit next and finish setup. YOURE DONE =)

but make sure ur phone is no connected to wifi these setting will only work over phones network
