Default did I bricked the phone?

So, my husband wanted his firmware changed.... I made everything I did for my phone and everything was smooth. I mean I checked it is a pvt phone and that the radio is the 2.22.19.26I, so the last one.
I flashed the haykuro SPL downloaded from here putting it as update.zip in the sd, and doing alt+s in recovery mode. when the phone restrts it staks for minutes on the first g1 screen, and the only way to go out is to pull the battery out.

so what's appened? what I should do?

please help me!

if you cannot boot into recovery holding home and end or camera and end with looping g1 logo, yes you are bricked.

If you can go back into recovery in any way shape or form, then no you aren't bricked.

if the radio is fine, the oldrom is incompatible with your SPL most likely..
so yes, you cn get into recovery and flash new firmware

thank to all of you! yes I can get into recovery, and the firmware is quite old! so I'll take the sd out, put in ther the cyanogen fw and flash! really thanks! but since the phone is still stacking on g1 screen how to put the sd out? I think I should put the phone off before? if yes I have to take the battery off, may I do it?

Who in the hell made you moderator. Of 42 posts, you will be absolutely amazed how much space you are taking up telling others to SEARCH. Have a looky here

Anyway, knock it off with the "search you fool" crap; leave the moderating to the moderators. At least if you're gonna show your butt, leave a constructive post wherein the confused member can find the help and read the rules.

Here, let me leave you an example.

Code:
Iso67, this question has actually been covered a lot here in the forum.
Most people will tell you to search, and perhaps you did.
Anyway, I know you are probably freaked out thinking you bricked your phone,
but I would have a gander here if you already haven't.

By the way....insert your own knowledge of problem here
This community is about sharing; knowledge, expertise, insight, and much more. There are over 6 billion people on this planet. Do you think it might be possible that XDA is going to get people who think they can just pop on and ask questions without following board protocol? Of course there will be. You don't have to insult each and every one....and yes, flaming is insulting.
