Default Rom Update Problem
Hi, i have a HTCP6500 this arrived on my desk as a dutch version, and as im no good at dutch i thought i would try and upload an english rom to this.

I used oilpro's unlocking tool (the one you have to pay for) and it sim/cid unlocked the unit, i then tried to upload the stock english rom off the website, and i keep getting

ERROR [270] UPDATE IMAGE CORRUPT

noe the phone is stuck in bootloader mode i presume (the screen with red,green,blue,white displayed?

any ideas please

Default maybe
get a dutch rom and try flashing that..
should get you out of bootloader..

tell how you got on...

install the hard spl from sticky in this forum...
then you will be able to flash any ROM

I think what you installed from olipro was just sim / cid unlocker...
im not sure if it is hardspl
