Default 1700MAH Battery.

yeah so look what i picked up off ebay. one catch...i dont think its 1700mah. does anyone know of an app or a way i can see the mah of the battery in android? if so and it says 1700mah ill show you how to get one for around 7 bucks apiece

That is the battery voltage. The voltage lowers as the battery energy is used. It is just an indicator of how much juice you have left in the battery. At 4.105 volts, you must have a battery that is close to fully charged. The only way I know of to test actual capacity of the battery is by monitoring the charging time, or monitoring how long it takes to completely drain. The larger the battery, the longer it will take to do both (typically). If you want to know the exact capacity, you will need to drain the battery at a constant current and monitor the time it takes to discharge, thus giving you the mAh (current * hours) of the battery.

I wonder if it's the same battery I picked up. I didn't get mine from ebay though, so I think I paid nearly $30 in total.

I can't tell the difference between the two batteries. I just swap them once a day and go about my business.

looks like the same battery I bought from Fommy.com, what a rip off at $35 !
