I was wondering if there's a way to uninstall the CM Updater in this theme because the new is out in the market and there's no uninstall button on 3.0 within the theme?

If up to a vote, I ask that the updater be left separate also. Flashing the new version without the new theme is counterproductive in my mind

Bump for a 4.0.2 version soon please... not having this theme is the only reason I haven't flashed yet!

drpfenderson,

Thanks for the shout out! I saw your theme and wanted to say that I really like it! The dark colors really appeal to my taste in themes... Keep up the great work...

Lightbulb how to remove outdated cmupdater

To remove the old one included in this go to terminal:
(Exclude mesages in parenthesis from commands)
Type:
#su
(then press enter)
#Mount -o rw,remount -t /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system
(might not be needed but do it anyways)
#rm /system/app/CMUpdater.apk -rf
(Press enter rember Case sensitive)
Edit: forgot this
#reboot
Or just reboot normally
-long press power
-select reboot

Heeeeyyyyy...Sorry about no updates recently. Got a new job, trying to pay the bills (especially rent) and learning the ropes have basically taken up all my time.
Trying to get an update for 4.0.2 out tonight...should have luck, but not promising anything.

I'm loving this theme. My new favorite! just waiting for the next update, preferably with no cm updater. I have it.

Ok - so I am on the verge of releasing 1.1 (a ton more icons, updated Launcher.apk to work with 4.0.2, removed CMUpdater, etc) - but there is one problem I have run into.

I cannot change the ticker (statusbar) text color to white. The Colorchanger script I've been using is changing EVERY SINGLE OTHER COLOR...except the most important one. I can't just hex edit it, and I have to learn smali/baksmali to do it from scratch.
This is frustrating. I didn't want to release it unfinished.

Sooo....saying that - if anyone still wants the new version, here it is - if anyone figures out the text thing...please help me out:

WARNING: Again, please read the above about the ticker text. When that issue gets fixed, this is getting officially released.

Well, for what it's worth, I cannot figure out what ticker you are talking about.

So far I am happy with the changes for 1.1 . I hope you get the last bit figured out... I would hate that to stalemate any other updates!

Thanks again!
