NRG's miniweather for Snap (1.3) won't update

Any clues? I've tried all the settings on in the options and still nothing. I have to manually update the weather.

NRG's miniweather 1.3 is the only thing close to working on my Snap. I've tried FeatherWeather, NRG's 1.2, NRG's 3.0 full program, WeatherPanel, and a few others and none work. At least this latest 1.3 works mostly but still not updating no matter what I try.

did u check to see if u have an active data connection?
either way ill post my settings so u can try them.

after u open up the options go to advance options, then:

1 - Y
2 - N
3 - F
4 - N
5 - N
6 - N
7 - A
8 - Y
10 - Y
11 - none

try that..and let me know if it works.

Thanks, I'll try them now. Only one off was data connection #2 for me, I had it "Y". I have a data plan...what do you mean by an active date connection?

I'll see if this works. It would countdown to my first update, then not update and no more countdown. We'll see if this option was the problem.

Next auto update says it will occur in 37 min.

Just did a manual update and it now says "Updated - 7:10pm" ... problem is it's only 6:45pm now! The phone shows 6:45 so yes, there are a couple bugs. I'm very grateful for NRG's efforts, and hopefully this will help him adjust the final tweaks on this great program

what i meant by "active data connection" was to make sure u connection was on..for some weird reason it keeps switching off and i have to go into my comm mgr and enable the data connection.

i have a unltd data plan too..but i didnt know what that was when i installed it..so i clicked no LOL.

the time thing really doesnt bother me, this app wasnt made for the Ozone/Snap/Dash 3G users so its gonna have a few bugs..i guess this is one of them..

ALSO to me its only temporary until we get the CID unlocker for the MAPLE, then im sure the developers, including NRG himself will begin to push out some up to date stuff for us.

Update started to be hit or miss today.

Bought the Elecont Weather based on your suggestion and after trial'ing it. Wow, works great!! Now only if it had Radar...
