anyone having the problem of the phone switching off by itself? as in i can leave the phone unattended for 2hr then when i come back it's off... and the battery is at 80+%... i'm not sure if it's the ROM or what... coz i flashed it with a custom firmware the moment i bought it xP

oh and btw could you update the programs which are included with the rom? like the latest Mini is 5... and the Opera mobile is even better... haha...

Try with a different battery or also with another ROM or hard reset.

Hope it helps.,

This is and always will be a site for developers, pure and simple. Without them we are nothing, without them there would be no reason for XDA Developers to exist; we should never ever forget that. Without them this place would not be called XDA-Developers but something else, e.g Mobile Phone User Support Services For Ungrateful Nerds.

Previous devices: HTC: Treo 650 - Excalibur - Diamond - Diamond 2 - Maple - HD2 - Rhodium - Desire Z - Desire HD - Vivid - Sensation - One V - One X - Titan II - One X+ - DNA

Any chance we could get updated versions of Opera Mini and Skyfire cooked into this ROM? Both of these have newer verion available.

I totally love this ROM, freakin' awesome job!

Just make sure you get a version that works smoothly with WM Standard for better performance in your snap

OK, I can install the latest versions separately. Question: as the originals are cooked into the ROM, do I then end up with two versions or do the ones I download and install overwrite the ones in ROM?

Also, Ookba, are you still working on this ROM, any plans for future updates or is this version the last we'll see? Just curious.

.
I assume yes, since it's cooked in the rom image. If you go one page behind another member has managed to do a registry edit to remove the rom version http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=1079

Good luck,

Devices:

Thanks for all the answers so far. Sorry to be a pain but I have one more question (so far).

I love playing around with new ROMS and sometimes like to reflash a ROM after extensive testing just to get a clean slate and start over. This is mainly to ensure clear out of any test software, registry entries etc. However - when I do this its a real pain in the a** to have to set up all those basic settings again that really never change (ringtones, sounds, basically everything in the settings menu).

Is there any way to just make a backup of these items. I use Sprite Backup but don't really see this as an option?

Pimbackup can helps but it was designed for PPC phones, some snap members have tested and it works. You can give it a try
