Default Help. HTC Ozone Bricked

Hello everyone,

The other day I dropped my HTC Ozone into a hot tube. I looked around online to see if there was a easy way to dry out my phone and a site told me to place my phone in a bowl of rice for a day or so. That worked and I can now boot my phone but only to the bootloader (Red, Green, Blue and white screen). It says CEDA100 Spl-0.39.0000. I was able to hook up my phone with a usb cable but was not able to run the romupdateutility that comes with the hardspl by jockyw package. When I try to run the romupdateutiliy, It does not see an image version that is currently installed and when I try to update the image, it changes my phone to a progress bar but never moves. After waiting some time, the update returns "Error 262 : Error updating".

Any help would be great.

thanks,

Does anyone know about loading IMG files from a SD card? It looks like my bricked Ozone will boot or load a image file from the sd card. If I name the cedar-original-spl-0.39.nbh file cedaimg.nbh, my phone will try to load it after the bootloader. Right now it says loading... and it has been that way for 10 minutes.

thanks,

I dont have a HTC Ozone, but it looks to me like if your memory got damaged. Not sure if it can happen on the ozone though.
