They won't make a single update to another WM6.1, let alone WM6.5

There are only a handful of people with the S740 in the world, we count nothing to HTC.

yeah, I got also a confirmation that Windows Mobile 6.5 WILL NOT be available for HTC S740. So, no upgrade.

I got the answer in dutch from HTC Netherlands:

Hartelijk dank voor het contact opnemen met ons Klanten Support Centrum.
Uw vragen en opmerkingen zijn belangrijk voor ons en we doen er alles aan om u uitstekende service te verlenen.

U heeft ons onlangs geschreven over een situatie met uw HTC S740


Om de situatie met uw telefoon te verduidelijken vertelde u ons het
volgende: dat U wilt weten of WM 6.5 beschikbaar zal zijn voor Uw toestel.

Wij verwachten Windows Mobile 6.5 tegen oktober van dit jaar op bepaalde modellen zoals de Touch 2. Op dit moment verwachten wij dit ook voor de Diamond 2 en de Pro 2. Wij verwachten niet dat dit voor de S740 beschikbaar zal zijn.

But the most prominent question is, Will we get any update for our Beloved S740?????

mine was from the HTC Europe wich has offices in UK..hope HTC will do something for this device if not we will do!!!!
