Chances aren't very bleek because htc new phone 'Tattoo' has the same processor as ours and same resolution, and the good news is that it's running on android, so from the moment the phone is out and someone uploads it's rom our problem might be solved!! The tattoo is expected in october.

You should be carefully with this... you are on the best way to brick your phone by trying to flash a tattoo-rom.
Maybe Processor is the same but what did you know about the other hardware specs.

e.g. Jade has only 256 MB Rom <-> Tattoo has 512 MB

The first attempt would be building a Kernel and testing it with haret (this is more safer because you can return to winmo by resetting your phone). Maybe someone has tried it on a similar device. Or you take the kernels from other (Qualcom-MSM)devices such as Kaiser, vogue, Diamond and run it with haret. (Or you get the Kernel from a tattoo-owner)

I think the neext steps will be developement and research, before you can start your mobile that small green robot...

Keep waiting, i'm sure there are more owner of msm7225 devices that also want android...

I even tried that: I download Hared and tried to run some images that are supposed to work on MSM processor, the thing is that when I read the log I found that Haret is not able to detect the processor type and it reports it as "generic ARM"

I'm willing to work on that to get it running.

any one?

How about this Androkidd that i've seen somewhere in the forum...i think it's an Android kinda interface on WM..maybe a less risky alternative?
