4.1 and all ROMs for near future will be for private use only. Lite version for Public use.
Private use is for people who have donated to me, donate to me in the future, helped me test in the past or publish thier own work.

Radio & RILPHONE.DLL
No radio comes with ROM and I only provide the RILPHONE.DLL as a courtesy so you have the right file for the Radio you choose.
You can not install RILPHONE.DLL by just copying it. Please read this thread to see how to install it. This file interacts with your Radio and can make a difference in radio, GPS & battery performance. I have found it best to match the rilphone.dll that is designed for your Radio. This is my own finding there are many factors involved which can vary by where you are located so trying to find the best combo for yourself is a good idea.

I will be posting the RILPHONE.DLL files for matching radio in a short time

Greetings and welcome to my ROM Thread ...

My ROMs are always built to have an enhanced OEM look but not the OEM feel. They will perform much better and the overall expierence for you will be greatly improved. I have made Visual Tweaks to the ROM but left it as an Add-On option. The ROM is also stripped of all Ringers, Alarms, Wallpapers and other Multimedia files. Also many of the OEM Apps have been removed and are available as a CAB install download. The ROM is meant to be clean, very fast and very stable and then I left it up to you to decide how YOU would like to customize it.

On the performance side many tweaks have also been applied. All of the common known tweaks and some not so commonly known have been loaded into the ROM to ensure maximum performance with good battery life and stablility.

The software found in the ROMs will always be the most up to date that works with Rhodium. All software is tested very carefully to limit the amount of bugs.

You will find much valuable information on the first page of this thread. Please take the time to read all post on first page thoroughly. You will find many of the answers to questions you may have. If you encounter any bugs, please check the Bug Post and take a look around the thread to see if your answer is with in. If you have not found your answer then report your bug. When reporting bug, report what version and build number you are using. Give as much information as you can.

For user customization my new favorite way to go is SASHIMI. It's a great little app that lets run whatever CAB files you assign with a push of a button. There are more options to allow you to customize your settings in a very few short steps. You can check them out here. It also is not tied into the ROM customization part.

As a courtesy to them I allow them to share my personal builds which at times are a step or two above what is on the forums. You will notice from time to time that sometimes I make my builds private. Instructions:
Read this guide. Everything you need to know is right there.
DO NOT CANCEL CUSTOMIZATION! Very important since changes are made during the final setup.
When Windows Customization is complete either run your User Costumization and/or reboot to fnalize settings.


FAQ
Q: Why do I get Invalid ID when I try to flash ROM?
A: You need to flash HardSPL!

Q: How/What do I need to install this ROM?
A: Please read the install instructions and all related guides before you install.

Q: Why is my antivirus warning me about a possible trojan/worm/virus?
A: It is a known problem with the CustomRUU.exe file. There is no trojan/worm/virus and your AV programs is just giving a fals positive. Search around these boards to confirm the problem.

Q: Why is Opera, Google Maps or other programs not cooked into ROM.
A: Not everyone uses the same version of those programs so it is up to the user to install what version they like. I have provided links to the latest versions of each in the following posts.

Q: I have problems with so and so?
A: Please take the time to read or search the thread to see if someone else was/is having the same problem to see if there is a solution before posting a question about your problem.

Q: I would like to report a bug.
A: Read and search through the thread to see if the problem has been already reported. If not then post about the problem. I will add it the bug list and look for a possible solution.

Q: My keyboard is not working correctly.
A: Go to Programs/Tools/Keyboard Tweaks and you will find a few tweaks to adjust keyboard settings.

Q: Which Edition is best for me?
A: Depends on what your use is like. If you are an AT&T user and use video share then get the AT&T edition.

Q: I like to use different flavors of TF3D or customize TF3D to my liking.
A: Download the No TF3D version and apply what interface you like.

Q: Can you cook in this version of TF3D?
A: No that is why I created the No Manila version.

Q: I have no data connection. Connects to data but no apps will get data from internet.
A: Goto Programs-->Network Center-->Proxy Manager and run Disable Proxy.

Q: You claim GPS is fixed but I still not get a signal.
A: Download the GPS Enhancement Package and install. This only works on AT&T Network. If you are on a different network you will have to find the proper settings for your network.

Q: My phone is not GSM based device can I flash with this ROM?
A: No, this ROM is just for GSM Touch Pro devices.

Q: I am on T-Mobile USA and I have problems with MMS.
A: Edit the settings below.

• Server Name: T-Mobile MMS
• Gateway: 216.155.165.50
• Port #: 8080
• Server Address: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
• Connect via: T-Mobile Data
• Send limit: 300k
• WAP Version: WAP 2.0

Q: My data connection is always activated.
A: Make sure settings for weather are disabled for automatic update. From TF3D Weather tab, right soft key and settings.

What's new in 4.0 ... where do I even begin
Everything from previous versions.
Base of ROM has been updated with all new drivers and apps.
All drivers & software from latest RHODIUM, LEO and QILIN have been incorporated to ensure maximum performance and stability. It was a very painful process and I would like to give a special big thanks to all who helped me test.
Video Call now works. Another big thanks for those who helped me test.
Voice Command, Windows Live and Live IM are now included with ROM.
Manila 2.5 and 2.1 have all been updated with the absolute latest versions. Everything works as it should. Of course there is not much landscape support for 2.5 so don't ask about it or post claiming it is a bug.
Add-On Pack has been updated with all the latest software available. Please check Add-On post for more details.
Much more that I can not recall right now.
Crap ... I don't know how I forgot this one ... LOCKSCREEN BUG HAS BEEN FIXED!!!
Internetpush is enabled by default. I discovered in some testing that some Opera install from CABs were not working properly with Pushinternet disabled by default. You can disable Push Internet from one of my scripts. There is a new script called Disable Push Internet - No Opera. This will not give any errors cause Opera is not installed.

Lets see what pops up in 4.0

TF3D2.1 with Opera 9.7. After first boot Opera will open with file not found error. It will not happen again unless you enable Push Internet. Push Internet does not work with 9.7 that I know of. I could be wrong but I am going on the safe side. It will not be supported in my ROMs until I look further into it.

If you are using Fusion Build with no Opera then go to start > Tools > Push Internet > Disable Push Internet - No Opera

Terminate Program Correctly
Create a new txt file.
First line of txt file =
REGEDIT4

Second line of txt file =
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\TaskManager\Termina teProcess]

Next line(s) of txt file =
"Opera9.exe"=dword:00000001

Replace Opera9.exe with the name of the exe of your program. Leave the quotes and everything as is.
Save txt file.
Rename extension to reg.
Copy to phone.
Import into registry with your favorite Registry Editor program. You can use Total Commander that is provided in Add-On Pack.

What this does, some programs do not close correctly and with this reg key it will be forced to terminate when you exit out of it.
