I did not realize it was not a file that could be copied, etc.
Sorry that wasn’t meant for you that was meant for anyone who could make you the update.

Couldn't you make some sort of disk image from the SD card?
Resorting to snail mail seems a bit extreme...

I’ve done a lot of reading the last two days and I can’t find any instance of the phone being recovered after the format failed.

Everything i’ve read indicates the image can’t be removed from the card.
If anyone knows how, please share.

Me too. The only thing I found is the MTTY method, but like you said the phone has to be CID unlocked. Since the unlocking did not appear to fail, only the phone after the reboot, I am hoping that if I get a restore file or sdcard that it would work. That is the absolute last hope I have for restoring my Wizard.

I have successfully made an image from an SD card backup of a splash screen and tested it, all went well.
I will start a new thread in the Wizard upgrading section later this evening when i’ve completed a full backup and uploaded it.
The backup will be of a T-Mobile MDA G4 but that shouldn’t matter, it should still work if it’s going to at all.

Tried image on my phone and it did not work. So I opened MTTY and ran ( set 32 ) and got
Code:
CMD55 failed
GetDeviceCID: Error - InitDecoder
g_cKeyCardSecurityLevel = FF
I believe FF means it is locked.

So I tried info 1 which gave 2.21.Olipro.

Sounds like I broke the HardSPL but did not change the SPL from 2.21.Olipro.

Sounds like truly a brick now.
