• By flashing any unofficial or custom ROM(s) may not extended your PDA warranty, so its your own risk and responsibilities.

• RUU supports all Windows platfroms.

• Before you run the RUU or flash the ROM using PC, make sure you have verified the followings first:

• USB sync cable isn't damaged or malfunctioning.
• No other usb interface device(s) are/is connected to PC/Computer, except keyboard and/or mouse.
• The standby and hibernation modes or settings are disabled on PC/Computer.
• All running applications on the PC/Computer have been closed.
• Your device is CID Unlocked.

• While flashing or updating, Do not interact or use your PDA, unless instructed to do so.
• While flashing or updating, Do not remove the USB sync cable from PDA, unless instructed to do so.

• UC Compatible is already supported in all the ROMs. Please visit this thread for more info about how to use it.

Flashings or Updating Notes -

Flashing via storage card ( MicroSD ) :

• First enable "Show hidden files...." in Tools -> Folder Options -> View 'tab', if you haven't done already.
• Go into the ROM package dir -> Bin. Copy the file named "ruu_signed.nbh"
• Insert your storage card (MicroSD) using memory card reader.
• Paste the copied file into your storage card (MicroSD).
• Wait for few mins to copy the files and then rename the file to "RAPHIMG.nbh" without quotes.
• Safely remove the storage card (MicroSD) from your PC.

• Make sure your PDA battery is above 50%. Switch OFF your PDA phone.
• Insert your storage card (MicroSD) into your PDA.
• Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN and press the power button once. Release the VOLUME DOWN button when the bootloader appears.
• Bootloader should automatically detect the ROM image from the storage card (MicroSD).
• Folow the onscreen instructions to flash the ROM successfully.

Flashing via Active Sync/WMDC :

• Make sure your PDA battery is above 50%. Switch OFF your PDA phone.
• USB sync cable is connected to PDA from your PC, to establish an ActiveSync/WMDC connection with your PDA.
• Either you can flash the ROM via Welcome.exe

OR

• Enable "Show hidden files...." in Tools -> Folder Options -> View 'tab', if you haven't done already.
• Go into the ROM package dir -> Bin and then run the ROMUpdateUtility.exe.

Flashing via bootloader or three colored screen :

• Make sure your PDA battery is above 50%.
• Switch OFF your PDA phone. Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN and press the power button once.
• Release the VOLUME DOWN button when the bootloader appears.
• Wait for few sec for Bootloader to loadup.
• Connect the PDA to you PC using USB sync cable.

• Either you can flash the ROM via Welcome.exe

OR

• Enable "Show hidden files...." in Tools -> Folder Options -> View 'tab', if you haven't done already.
• Go into the ROM package dir -> Bin and then run the ROMUpdateUtility.exe.
