All new WM 6.5 build 23049 {see my last post} ☺☻

Hello all atlast a new wm 6.5 build 23049 going to be released and guess what? this time this room is not builded by phamquang ha ha.

Now many peoples didnt like the icons of notification bar and also when u click about device then there a logo of pda viet appeared now no more these.

A clean rom for Htc touch viva will be coming soon just needs a final touch till then see the screenshots. This time touch viva ahead

So whats different in this rom from pda viet?
1. Default notification bar is there as ms has realeased.
2. No more pda viet symbol
3. The default titanium bar as ms released like in daimond.
4. All major features added of wm not modified anyone like in this build rom we have got myphone windows market place and more.
5. All new ie is there in this build
6. Very excellent respose time.
7. Also the boot screen animation is default one thats is ms released one.

Soo all cheer up this screenshots is posted so that u all know that opal is not behind if this rom gets a success thats very good feedback after release then future roms will be released. Not till complete!


Default titanium and dont worry the wallpaper would not be black for ever.


Neat and clean start menu with icons absolutely clear.


Live search added.


Microsoft my phone added usage of back button symbol.


New ie is there.


Windows market place is there.

Give reply what changes would u like in this version.
Note :- The release of this version would take more time then what u all expect if before release another new build comes then this will be updated.

kool....cant wait..finally a rom not from pda veit. no offense pda veit rom r kool.. but i wanna see other cooks too see how great their rom is.. cuz i used to have a wing/ htc herald nd the cooks are great there like alot of them some retire then new ones pops out and gets better and better... so hopfully we can have alot of cooks for our htc touch viva...

its when i receive a SMS, The Opal Vibrate , dont Stop

Solution :
Restart the Phone

I like a ROM same the Microsoft, without applications, Opera, Google Maps, My Phone, etc, etc can be installed later an in a SD Card

Dude what are you talking about? this aint no personal request! nevertheless, am with Nuno Rodrigues on this.... Googlemaps will be cool, and maybe operal too, the default IE is complete crap compared to safari,opera and the others, i just wish they will do something about it before the final release

What you are doing is very great man.We Opal people don't have much people making roms for us at all,All we have to rely on is phamquang and all his roms look the same don't matter what the build,and personally i don't think his roms are any good,they don't even look like the original windows mobile 6.5.I have made a rom myself but it's build 23037 and it works pretty good with a few bugs,but the file is big and i don't have enough upload speed.If i could get my hands on the latest builds probably i could build some roms too.But they have to be 96dpi to work properly on the Opal.

Thank u all opal users for the replies.

Now, opal rom develoment update. Sorry the rom will me available only after 25th of this month because of my exams going on hope u understand.

Now one of the user requested to add manila 2d also but i think most of the people kik out manila after installing, so wait for more replies majority will win titanium or manilla. Same for other applications too like google maps and all that.
If some applications really u need then i will rebuild a rom. Actually the build screenshot was only for test purpose whether it will work on our touch viva or not.

Just be posting reply i promise to share with u a room of ur choice.
( I am making this rom as i requested many rom devlopers of other device to make and they simply say we dont have the device so not possbile so i decided to make myself roms and remeber iam a beginner.

i think all the apps that can be installed on the memory card should NOT be included like opera, google maps, etc (people can find them easily on the internet and can easily be installed on the card) it would just consume valuable space.

i myself don't use Manila 2D and Titanium... i have my own Today screen.

bigger space is better.

I think u have a point here, opera googlemap etc can me later added and in this way more space will be there. Lets see what others have to say.

And one more thing whatevery u want titanium is a must in wm 6.5 its part of the new os so i think titanium should not be removed may be manila 2d.

* Contact with Fullface caller (i am using Icon soft in WM6.5 but use to get some bug -not able to attend the calls /Phone hang up etc.)

* new calender view

* New ICONs
