xperia speaker gone!!!

till last night i was using the loud speaker ..& when i tried it in morning it was not working...showed to service centre..they say that speaker is damaged..my phone didn't fall of didn't had any damage..it was just 6 hrs after last usage.and suddenly the speaker(ringer) went quite...any guidance

if it don't show that it's in headset mode
and if hardreset don't help
then it's a hardware thing

even if you didn't drop it
all components have a mttf as in (mean time to failure )
this is a statistical time before it fail
being statistical it's not of cause the exact time

hardware makers make sure to pick components where non of them are
likely to fail in large numbers before the warranty is over

but it being a statistical time some will die after 1week and some will last 10years

so buttom line is you don't need to physically damage your device for it
to get a hardware problem within 6hours since you used it without a problem
or even within 10min
