Hi,

don't know.. Ebay will prob. give the best results..

However, the only type you will be able too use is a dynamic mic.. Wich is less perfect for recording than a condensator mic.

This is because a condens mic needs a current for his pre-amp..

Good luck!

ps. Would be great to have a script that starts recording when a external mic is plugged! ( if you won't use it for playback.. )

problem is that there is no std. for 3.5mm jackconnectors with mics
so everybody does it differently

if I were you i would cut open the headset just under the mic and buttons
and solder a female minijack connector which matched the mic you have
and connect it that way
hhhmm ok i may be a jerk but i'm a jedi jerk like my father was before me
BTW "I can't use a skeleton arm with that"

There are condenser mics for 3,5mm which use a small battery like R6 or similar to feed the pre-amp.

We had one for our band recently. The only prob is, to create your own plug without ruining the recording quality. Maybe try to make your own adaptor.
