Hi everyone i need help here to sort out my lost Micro SD Card For My GENE I Was Using IT When Suddenly My phone Switched Restarted When I checked My File Explorer It does not Shown My card When i put it on card reader it first shows disk is not formatted do you want to format when i give yes it gives error that windows cannot format the drive and another sad thing is it shows the size of the disk as 2.0kb only any body please trouble shoot i request all senior members to help......

try to format the card using disk management utility

my sd card also got same problem.

Try USB Card reader. In case the USB Card Reader is able to recognise the SD Card, format it while connected to windows desktop/laptop.

your sd card will be not format with windows format utility, it will be format by DOS . Use this method
Open windows xp
click start --> program --> acessery -->
commond prompt
you will see a box, Type here
>format k: ( press return key)
note : k is the destination drive where your SD card ploughed
follow the instruction.... enjoy
