The time shown in the weather widget is not the current time... it's the time when the weather info has been last updated
About widgets, if they're only widgets you can have as many as you want at the same time (provided you have enough device memory of course). Just be careful about their installation because sometimes some packages change the qa_layouts.dat making you lose the configuration for the ones you have already installed, making them not working until you restore their xml.
Mmmh... maybe I'm being sort of cryptic here lemme try to explain better...
when you install some widgets, they put some files in mobile shell folders and they also need a special xml file inside qa_layouts.dat.
If an installation alters your qa_layouts.dat, ripping away the xml of your already installed widgets, they'll stop working until their xml is restored inside qa_layouts.
Hope this post has been somehow useful, or at least I hope it didn't give you a headache lol
If you want, you can also take a look at my widgets: if you like some of them and want to give'em a try, they're not going to break any other widget you may have installed already
well i yes i had read that in the threads but when i updated my weather the time is still off, the time is 10:50, i updated the weather right now and the time says 9:53, i updated it 2 hours before that, so is it the time before that? i have my setting at every half hour for updates

Uhm, you're right, it looks like something's off then
Could it be (I'm taking a wild guess here) that it shows the time at which the info were last updated not on your phone but on your weather source maybe?

I believe the time shown on the weather widget is tied to the information service you use. Not the current time or the time you actually updated the info. The service (weather.gov or whoever you use) updates their info periodically and that is the time you are getting. So if you see it's 30 degrees at 3:30 then you know that at the airport (or wherever the info is taken from) it was 30 degrees at 3:30.)
This is a little embarresing, but the description on the first page about how to put url link with icon doesn't make any sense to me... And I really don't have any time to research it any further.
It doesn't even have to be a icon link but a text link would suffice! Any advice on the matter would be greatly appreciated!
Be warned I'm still only learning the basics of the spb mobile shell so any abbreviations or such will probably be wasted on me...

really?? did you follow the link, and have you tried google, also mskip has a my downloads link in his sig, there might be something there
You can put an invisible shortcut (either install my widgets only pack or the appropriate pack from Vostradamus) and place it over your sms icon. The message numbers will then still show but when you click on the button it will open your samsung sms app.

- Updated Link Girls cab to add 5 new girls
- BugFix on Current Date Zodiac and Digital Clock Multifunctional Zodiac to solve an issue which caused some files to be left behind during uninstallation
- Added new Theme Widgets Collection: Transparency
- Added a small Tools package. It currently contains 3 small tools, added to programs/Vostradamus when installed. These “tools” are:
1) Restart Shell – I often need to restart Mobile Shell, and I got bored of chasing the “exit shell” in MS menus, so I made this one to be able to place it on my screen and restart the shell with a single click.
2) Exit Shell – Same as above, but this one just shuts the shell down.
3) Reset Zodiac Widget – if you’re using one of my zodiac widgets (analog clock, digital clock or current date) and it stopped updating the zodiac sign automatically after you messed a bit with the date on your device, this tool will reset it to its normal working state.
I haven't been around in a while, but was recently inspired by Windows Phone 7's Hubs. I've posted instructions over on spbclub on how to do something like this in Mobile Shell 3.5.x.
Trick: Windows Phone 7 Hubs in Mobile Shell 3.5.x
Resolutions: All
Description:
For myself, I've created four hubs: Music, Photos, Books, Newspaper. Each of these is a Lifestyle-like panel with 3 pages (you can increase this number with a registry editor). In the Tools menu, there is a tool for each of these hubs. I add them to my favorites. So when I want to launch say Newspapers, I can tab Launch and Newspapers and find myself in a 3 page lifestyle panel. The left page has weather widgets and links to online radar sites. The center page has links to various newspaper sites. The right page has links to blogs and the facebook widget. Swipe left and right to access the pages. Up and Down or pressing Home key or the Back key takes me back to Professional or Lifestyle Home.
Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much for sharing.
