Default Free official upgrade to 6.5!
I just received a confirmation from my (Dutch) provider that there will be a free upgrade to WM6.5 available for download for the HTC Snap any day now.

I guess we'll have to check the HTC site till october 6th...

The only bad part is that it will identical to 6.1 other than Skymarket.

The main hype of the upgrade is so they can make $ off you guys buying apps.
Current devices: GS4, NOTE2

Current projects: GS4 wireless charging and magnetic dock (link coming soon)

Darn, I hope they change there mind and give us a real 6.5 !

Why would they do that? Skymarket is also released for Windows Mobile 6.1, right? And what would be the difference in Windows Mobile 6.5 with your custom ROM, besides the applications you've added?

It's Windows Mobile Standard. They Didn't give you anything special... Still running HTC Sliding Panels.
