Gene not responding !!!!

hey ppl..... k i made a silly mistake ! i kept my gene in my bag & took it out in the rain !!! unfortunately the bag wasn't waterproof so it gt all wt..... now my gene isnt responding. rather wen i connect it to the charger the red light glows like the one durin low battery & after a while the screen lights up in gray color. PLZ HELP !!!!!

Try the following: remove battery, sim chip and SD Card. Put your gene in a warm place and left it for some hours. Do this a few times and then try to power on your device. This may work. If not, the best thing to do is send your gene to repair.

actually i have tried that.... though it's only been 6-7 hours but still i'm not sure as i live in a very wet place !!! the humidity here is always at arnd 100% so is there any other way ??? more to it i'm nt sure whether it's because of the rain as i just realised it was in my friend's pocket all the time.

You can use a hairdryer. But if your gene is still under warranty, I advise you to send to service centre.
