I haven't read the thread, but surely there must be a way to do version checks on a file without inserting the device up there

I prefer many many use facebook on Internet explorer, it's more intuitive and more complete, The app, is slow and not totally reactive, I have a HTC HD and I hope that facebook developpers will work hard to reach the quality of the iphone version, I'm pro WM but I'm jealous of the appstore, Microsoft should catch the train and propose a service, at least on the level of apple,
