Android 2.0 stock theme for AOSP 1.6 (donut)

Version 1.2, this theme is now ported to MetaMorph!

Update: Ported to MetaMorph and some small changes (see changelog below)

Thanks to jroid and AndroidFiend for testing, giving feedback and advice and for the morphs to customize this theme!

This theme is now for MetaMorph only, make sure to read the install instructions.


This theme started as my personal mod but i decided to make it public for those of you that just want to see some bits and pieces of Eclair or themers that want to use some resources.
Everything is based on Android 1.6 (donut) and everything is pretty much stock Android with some Eclair and MotoDroid.

You can keep track of this theme with the CyanogenMod Updater (available in the market) by scanning the QR code in Settings-->Manage Theme Servers, or by updating the featured themes list.
Make sure you do not flash the MetaMorph file when you download it using CMUpdater, this won't work. CMupdater can only be used for update notifications and to download the MetaMorph file. The file downloaded by CMUpdater needs to be placed in a folder on your SDcard called 'AndroidThemes' and needs to be applied using the MetaMorph application.

-Replaced all Cyanogen specific images in the AOSP 1.6 theme template for stock.
-Removed market apps from aosp 1.6 theme template.
-Removed all wallpapers from aosp 1.6 theme template for compatibility reasons (and reducing size a lot).
-Removed obsolete images from maps for AOSP 1.6 theme template.

Install instructions:
First read what Stericson has to say himself.
Next download and install MetaMorph from the market and download and install AndExplorer from the market. Make sure you put the Morphs posted in this thread on your SD card in a folder called 'AndroidThemes'. Point the MetaMorph application to the morph you want to apply using AndExplorer and apply all subthemes or just the bits you like.
This theme also support AdvancedLauncher both as a stand-alone version or the Home replacement version. Download link for the AdvancedLauncher is in the resources section. If you want to use the AdvancedLauncher as a stand alone version make sure you push it to /system/app cause for now MetaMorph won't work on applications installed on the sdcard.

For the lockscreen to work you have to install Stericsons lockscreen which can be found here. Make sure you install a version that is compatible with your ROM.

Reboot needed after applying it.

Please make a backup before trying this. I tested and reverted on a fresh CM install but i won't guarantee anything.

Looks like you forgot the Browser but other than that it looks good.

Update: looking good. I like the transitions for loading gmail and such. New maps app is crisper too.

No, sorry. I have a 'read-only' account for following people but i'm not in the habit to twitter myself.
