Using GRemote pro as emulator controller

so i just purchased the full version of GRemote pro and so far im very happy with it. works great with my carpc setup, well worth the money.

But heres my question. Im trying to setup the GRace app to use as an emulator controller. The game ive been testing it with is Mario Kart 64. I am able to play the game but not well. my main problem is that i cant get the G sensor to turn mario i have to use the Dpad to turn him and since the touch screen doesnt allow multi touch i have to let off the accelerator then use the D pad to turn then accelerate again which makes it pointless.

I dont know if the emulator will allow me to use it the way i want to or not but i was hoping someone on here could figure it out.
