T Mobile Touch HD2 Coming soon

Just seen on the t mobile site that they are showing the Touch HD2 coming out on the 9th of November with a ' 3.8" touch screen and loads of apps to download from ' Android market '

How can they be so wrong about a device ? Or am i missing something.

they do get a bit confused at T-Mobile - when I first rang to upgrade, they said the HD2 was in stock and then tried to give me a Touch 2 instead...

however, i've just noticed on THIS page http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/mobil...mobile-phones/ they do actually have a real picture of the real HD2

their customer services guys still don't know much - just spoke to one who went off to ask "our handset guy" about availability - he came back saying only that "he thinks it will be before the end of this quarter" - which is about as helpful as a snowplough in the desert.

I told him the last person i'd spoken to said 6th of November, but he said he'd seen that before and had since heard it wasn't correct.... Here's hoping that the truth will be revealed soon, I can't hold on much longer just re-watching the few video reviews out there...

Not sure if I'm going to be disappointed tomorrow or not... but I was able place an upgrade order this morning on the HD2 (after ensuring that I was getting the HD2 after the 10th time of asking), placed my order.

And apparently should be with me tomorrow morning... I guess I'll wait and see... more than likely be disappointed... but hey bonus if i'm not

Hmm, they told me I would get it for free on an upgrade. However, it won't be available till friday, at which point they will call me again to continue the upgrade process.

Cannot believe how T-Mobile makes such a cock-up in their website! Mixing an HD2 with an HD and not bothering to ractify the mistake is just ridiculous. Everybody is talking about it on the Net and they still haven't changed to the correct picture!? Maybe next year? T-Mobile is a great company with, in my view, the best plans around. But their staff is just dreadful! They just get confused and are unable to answer any straight, simple questions. Oh, and if you had any doubts about the (in)competence of their "web guys" these are now gone...

What T-Mob package are you guys on, and what length contract are you getting the free upgrade on? I'm interested now, as I am due an upgrade as well...

I have just rung the renewals dept at T-Mobile. They are still saying 12th Nov, with no pricing info available yet. So i'd like to know who you actually spoke to to get that free upgrade...
