Default Which Olders Apps DON'T Work On The HD2

Has anyone found WM apps that worked well before but don't seem to function well on the HD2?

I figure we can start a thread and hopefully find fixes for any of these apps.

(Don't have an HD2 yet, so I don't have anything for this thread.)

A lot of apps wpnt work such as mobile tfl or htc pedia settings as they require a newer compact net framework. Odd. Do i really need to instal 3.5 framework on a new updated phone?

Profimail doesn't work at all. I've been on to the developers and it sounds like a fix might be coming.

Ah, but which version of TCPMP and using which settings?

The best version for use on my Touch Pro2 seems to be the one attached to this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=172

To make it work on my TP2 I select "DirectDraw" as the renderer method (which is the default, I think) then go into the Settings menu, DirectDraw page, and tick the box that says "use blitting instead of overlays".

If that doesn't work, then try using "Raw" or "GDI" as your rendering method.

If that doesn't work either, then try using the version of TCPMP attached to this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=380387

(You may need to change Rendering methods with that too).

If you know where you can find a copy of TCPMP version 0.81 or 0.82, that would be an interesting experiment as well.
