Request: Predictive text in forms??

I don't know why the hell HTC or Google dissables predictive text in some forms like search, address boxes, password forms, but it is ANNOYING as hell. Now that we are rooted, would one of the many talented developers care to take a shot on removing this hindrance and allow predictive text in ALL forms?

Oh and also, how about finding where the dictionary file is saved so that I can do a complete clean wipe and install without losing it.

The MyBackup app from the android market will backup/restore your dictionary.
