Default Can weather app update via WiFi
Does anyone know of a way to make the home screen weather app update via wifi?

The weather updates via WiFi just fine. But you have to go into the weather tab to manually tap "update now".
Do you mean you want the weather to update automatically every time your device is connected via WiFi? That, I'm not sure of...
