Thumbs down HTC Screwed up the HD2 retail ROM! It's slower than the pre-release!

Just saw this:

Just Windows' patches which will slow the system.

It's still very fast. I know it smokes the hell out of my Touch HD!

Yeah its faster but you do want it running to its full potential. That would be like only having a windows system (Joke).

srsly, who cares about generic benchmarks? as long as the overall performance is good - and coreplayer proves that - it doesn't matter ...

I agree...for now! wait until the great people here on xda start tweaking it.

Guess you didn't hit the link. The problem IS overall performance. The device is now suffering from lag & stuttering compared to the pre-release ROM according to the the Italian guys.
The god damn Pre-release ROM was fine, HTC just managed to screw it up. 95% of those who will get the phone don't give a flying hoot or know about XDA-devs. It's a major fail from HTC.
