How come you did away with sense. I thought thay was the big selling point of the hero. Not to mention that everyone is trying to emulate that interface.

Just curious.. other than that, clean setup!

go into the app manager and clear the defaults for HTC Sense, and next time you press home you can pick between Sense, or Vanilla.

Internal Memory Card Widget & SD Card Memory Widget

They are both made by G3, if you search for them both will come up in the list.

I understand how he did it. My question still stands however. Why?

I also understand that there is a slight improvement in performance by disabling sense but I have never noticed any particular slowdowns with or without it.

Temporarily on my hero ..maybe keep in it not sure

the font you can downloaded from the market and use on open home ...cant use it on the hero interface itself
