About weather animation...........

Recently I installed official TD2 wm6.5 rom, the first impression is the weather animation effect in the home tab,
but this effect goes away if user changes wallpaper to one prefers,
so is this there any way to retain the animation effect, while user can still change wallpaper?
The "default" wallpaper, well, I thinik, is "no wallpaper" at all, since nothing shows up in the home tab background.........

it depends on what rom you are using.

for example in dutty holygrail rom it is possible to select weather wallpaper and also choose a non animated wallpaper to be used too.

Well, I'm currently using official wm6.5 rom from HTC official website.
Since my TD2 is still under warranty, the best thing I can do for this matter is to find out if someone else comes up with such a program,
rather than installing an un-official rom my self.....

The weather animation effect has also gone in my TD2, after I have changed the wallpaper.

I do not know why even I change back to the "default" wallpaper, it still cannot have the weather animation.

just go to the settings-tab and try to change the wallpaper. the phone will ask you if you want to use the original wallpaper which should be the weather-wallpaper.

In my case, the default wallpaper...

Anyway, that is one of my biggest challenge in Topaz WM6.5, Manila 2.1
Have the Full Screen weather animation in Home tab (I remember that in the Weather tab, it works).
Since Manila 2.5 could have that, there must be a way out... to 2.1 too.

Anyone, any clue???

How about using the HDWall app so that you can use your own wallpaper on home screen and all other tabs?

Thanks but, I already have my own wallpaper in all tabs. I'm looking for the weather full-screen animation in home tab, for that wallpaper.

What method did you use to change your wallpaper in the first place? The reason i mentioned HDWall is because you can set your own wallpaper and still retain the weather animation on the home tab.

OOhhhh. Is that so! You could have say'd that before !!!

I use "Manila_2_1_19193517_0_BkAllTabs.CAB" somewere out there.

But now if you say so, I'll check HDWall.
