Default Interesting chat with Seidio...

I contacted their online sales help chat to inquire about Imagio accessories. Here's the result:

Please wait for the next available representative…
Patrick: Are you going to have any accessories for the Verizon Imagio?
You are next in queue. We will be with you in just a moment.
Thomas: hello

Patrick: Hi
Thomas: Thank you for your inquiry. We haven't got plans to release a line of accessories for the HTC Imagio at this time.
Thomas: I will forward your inquiry to our design team to make them aware of your interest in a line of products for this device.
Patrick: No plans? Really?
Thomas: Not at this time. Now that doesn't meain that we won't eventually release aany products for it. We just haven't got plans to at this time.
Patrick: Wow. Okay, thanks.
Thomas: My pelasure.

Will my phone be joining the iPhone on the island of Misfit Toys? I still have a couple days to swap for a TP2. Should I wait?

LOL!..
I had the same talk a few days ago, when I was looking for a holster for my imagio. I really love the clip holster Seidio made for my XV6700, and wanted another one for my new phone. Guess I will have to find another mfg...hope they have the same quality..

If you can turn it in do it. Don't get me wrong great phone just not as popular and there is more hacked stuff for the TP2. I wish I would have done it when I had the chance.

Not to get this post too far off topic, but myh wife has a TP2, and, while I do like it, it is a brick, when compared to the sleek imagio. I still do like the slider keyboard (I came from an XV6700), but am getting used to the virtual one using fingerkeyboard and bigkeys.

I haven't found any hacks I want that were only for the TP2 and not the imagio. I think it is just that the imagio is newer. I am running the nrgy custom rom with sense 2.5, and it ROCKS!!!

FWIW - I used the SEIDIO holster for several of my past phones as well and was disappointed that they did not make one for the Imagio. I was recently at my local Verizon store and asked the one associate who knew ANYTHING about the Imagio about it, and he said THEY carried one. He went in the back and got one, yea . . . they did not waste display space on an accessory for the Imagio . . . and it is exactly like the ones SEIDIO makes. Perfect!

Hey Brian,
Does the Verizon one allow the phone to be inserted face inward? This was a great benefit to my old XV6700 Seidio one, as it really protected the screen.

I responded to teamgs via PM, but for anyone else who is wondering, yes - the phone faces inward to protect the screen, and there is a felt-like coating on the inside to protect the plastic. Very nice.

Do you have the Vz part number for that holster? I want to call my local stores and see if any have one in stock.

Thanks!
