Question supporting android 1.1

hi there,

im just getting into android development. the sdk still supports android 1.1, but it would seem that the minimum being run nowadays is 1.5. with the rapid pace at which android is moving, is there really any point trying to keep an app working with 1.1 still? what do we all think?

sadly to say. it is seriously pointless. yes i think 1.1 is a prototype that has wack concepts but does not have the development sadly. unless you can port some apps to 1.1, everyone will fallow the devs in the new oncoming builds. 2.0 is next, so 1.1 stands alone in the dark unless you are a bada$$ and rebuild her yourself.
