alrightly well i got my refurb in the mail from aspurion, sprints insurance,
so i really would like to know is it against my insurance terms to take apart my phone?

i'd really like to make a screen replacement guide, as i'd rather replace my screen then replace my phone next time i crack the screen.

so any info would be great!

Somewhere in the breakdown process there will be a seal you have to break to get it open. If you can't remove that seal without breaking it then you've voided your warranty (even with insurance) and you will be paying for that phone after it gets back to Asurion. Best thing to do would have been to reported it as totally busted (ran over by a car? lol) and then after you make your disassembly guide you destroy it and send it back.

It is a simple white sticker over one of the lower screws. Easily taken off with a razor blade and put back on when you are finished. No one will be the wiser. I have done it twice and it was very simple. Good Luck.
