Weater location problems

I have a problem with my Mega. sometimes the phone places a weather form an Bulgarian city but I am 400 km away in romania. can we fix some how this problem?

Same problem in belgium i live in Antwerp but i got the weather from hackney somewhere in london. The problem is that even googlemaps buts me in that location as long as it has no fix with the build in GPS. But even then i don't get the right weather in that position

Me to, Also in belgium. I live near Leuven but my phone gives the weather of Elsene, that's near Brussels :S

Hi,

Even i too faced this same issue...actually today i got a new SIM card and removed my old sim, updated the configuration (APN settings etc which the configuration wizard does)..

While i restarted the device with the orginial sim it should the correct location (chennai)

Earlier it showed some egyptian city (zohua?? or something like that) because i was in cairo last week using this mobile (purchased @ dubai int airport)

I love this mobile, trendy , slim and stylish with HTC custom built interface over 6.5 :D

How to solve the problem

First, you have to go to

Settings > Location

Then you should be able to activate "Improve location service by collecting etc...." and the select "HTC Location Service"

NOTE: If you have "Improve location etc ... " inactive then you h ave to update the weather first from the "Weather" home tab.

The activate the GPS by starting a program that uses GPS. I've done that by starting IGO.

Then minimize the program and update the weather in home.

Worked for me
