Default skype finally on android.. by fring

waited long for this! tried it on my hero- works! both wifi and 3g.. still under development but does the job.. check fring out!

oh, and its not skype lite btw

Very very very very buggy, doesn't log in half the time, other half doesn't show 90% of my Skype/MSN contacts as being online, when I know they are.

Has potential but needs a ton of work.

Nimbuzz is also available for android and is far better than fring...

i agree, except for the fact that you cannot make calls on skype.. well, at least on my hero

Nimbuzz lost support for Skype a while ago. They (or Skype, I don't remember) sent out an email out when the support was removed where they stated that it was because of issues with the quality/performance of the video calls through the Skype network. So, Nimbuzz doesn't support Skype. BUT IT'S A GREAT APP. I use it daily.
