battery drains very fast frm 100% to 80%

guys i bought a 2nd hand elf....charged fully...battery drains frm 100% to 80% very fast...then becums normal....wen it reaches to 5% it works for than hrs....while using gprs each %drops within half an hr

i did everythn lyk discharging battery cumpletely and dn charging it while phn is off but nuthn workd...plzzzz help nw to calibrate d battery meter....

buddy there is already a hread about battery callibration
plz read carefully,,have u prees your power button for a while while your phone is off??lastly just fully charge your phone wiyh usb data cable..may be the fault in the charger as i had...

if your device is more then 2years old then there is possibility that your battery is dying!!!
just see wether your battery swollen or not...
