Default Using swapper with a Class 2

Alright, I've searched on google, and through the forums and have heard that using a class 2 sd card with swapper will make it run down quicker than with a class 6. but is it plausible to do this anyway? and how long would it take to deteriorate?

Last thing, what are good settings to use on swapper? I'm running KiNgxKxROM Sense Hybrid v2.3 and I have an 8gb Class 2 sd card on the G1 . I'm trying to see the least amount of loading screens on this rom while still using a stable configuration on swapper..

HELP PLEASE

Default class 2

a class 2 sd card will work and itll work fine! ive used a class 2 card and swappiness was set at 60! it ran fine and i had no black screens!! but if i were u i would use compache because it will let the phone run smoother!! whichever u choose make sure u have a task killer thet way u can end all your tasks and u dont bog the phone down!

by they way are u using the swapper app or a swap partition? i would make a linux-swap partition on your memory card if your bent on using swap!! i never really like the swap app and it doesnt seem to work as well as a linux-swap partition!

Default Swap

I actually planned on using the swapper app since I was on KingsKlick's Sense 2.3. but i recently switched to Sense Hero 1.4 which doesn't use swap, so I'm good for now. however, I am awaiting a Hero Sense 2.1 ROM that is good to use on a daily basis
