I thought Dwang used Cy's kernel (mostly) to start with?

For those using the very awesome "Metamorphosis"
be careful when adding animations...
They're causing fc in the market.

I'm new to all this and would love get some advice.
I'm currently running cyanogen v4.2.8.1.
but I still think its slow and I'd like to try this rom.
only few things holding me for doing so is that I'm little confuse about wired tether. is it automatic like in cyanogen as long as i have partition setup? or do I have to download wired_tether_1_0.apk and install? if thats the case, how to install it? because i love cyanogen's usb tethering.
another thing is that, can i upgrade gmap to 3.3.1 on this rom? I'm asking because when i tried few hero roms, I was stuck with old gmap and couldn't update from market.

I knew it had to be due to that because I had no FC on market until I started messing with MetaMorph... Darkstar in particular.. The nexus morphs didnt cause any problems

hey Htcclay, with this cy kernel can we again play 3D games or does it still use the 10MB ram hack? Also I flashed this right over no wipe original Dwang v1.14 and it worked just fine. i also added black theme which I modified and it still works great. Thanks, so far so good, seems faster too

Yep,
Just install the wired tether.apk and follow the on screen instructions...easy to set up.
Maps shouldn't be a problem.

I love dwangs roms for its stability....how stable is this rom with cm's kernel? asking cause i hate the wife nagging me that her phone fc's or hangs, or reboots out of nowehre
