Default "Back-Porting" camera to 2.0+?

So we all know that HTC has yet to release the latest drivers for 2.0, or 2.0.1. So, could we possibly take the old camera drivers and applications and place them into 2.0+? I don't know all the real information about doing so, but it doesn't seem that challenging..

Ideas and Thoughts?

At the risk of being blunt... this doesn't need to be talked about any more. If drivers come out, you will know, if htc releases them, you will know, if someone reverse engineers the old drivers, you will know.

Alright, I didn't know.

Oh and Evilkorn, there is a difference in being blunt, and being rude. I was trying to discuss an idea or find out more information about how it could work. Don't be an ass, there is no need for that.

There's a difference between "there" and "their" too.

Had to be done.

It would actually be no big deal to create an ABI adapter for using the old driver. Its just technically beyond the "devs" who have been responsible for these builds. Most of them don't have the required programming skills, some of them don't have the time, others of them don't have the interest.

I have the skills, but neither the interest, nor the time.
