a few Q's about flashing to a new rom....

I'm thinking of flashing my new TP2 to mighty rom, but since this is my first time flashing with anything other than a stock rom I have a few questions and concerns.

1. If for some reason I want to switch back to the stock rom, where would I find HTC's Verizon rom, or can it not be found?

2. If I choose to unlock my gsm radio at a later point (Verizon customer service has assured me they can unlock it with out it kicking me from their network) would I encounter any issues, or should I call and get it unlocked first?
