Why exactly is it called O2 compass? Was it extracted from an O2 device?

I think O2 is a Initial of Omnia 2 not O2 Devices
Device : Samsung Omnia II (GT-i8000)
ROM : X1 Beta

This is a great little app. If you need a compass or just want to play with one, this works very well and no bugs that I have found. Thanks to the dev.

It also works very well in samsung omnia pro B7610
