Default [Q] Question for ROM Chef's

Hi, first sorry for my english.. English isn't my first language

I bought a HD2 in Singapore last December. I guess my HD2 has HTC WWE ASIA ROM. My HD2 Software Information:
Os Version : 5.2.21869 (21869.5.0.82)
Manila Version : 2.5.19211619.0
ROM Version : 1.48.707.2 (71294) WWE
ROM date : 11/09/09
Radio Version : 2.05.51.05_2
Protocol Version : 15.28.50.07U

This is my default HTC keyboard

As you can see, I have chinese input symbol "中"

If I select that symbol, my keyboard will be like this

If I press one of the button (in this screenshot, I press "A"), there will be some Chinese word suggestions pop up

If I select the up arrow symbol beside the keyboard icon in bottom taskbar, I have these options

This is my Test Input Settings

My Question is, are there any ROM that have this kind of input method (the english-chinese support)?
If there aren't, can someone teach me how to get that input method? I really like custom ROM but I'm afraid I can't read/write chinese characters as I can do with my default ROM.

I asked this because yesterday I flashed my XPERIA X1 to Itje Touch-IT Black Leo Landscape with Manila 2.5.1922 WWE and found out that his ROM can't read/write chinese (chinese characters displayed as square symbol). I don't have the chinese input symbol either in my keyboard.

Thank you for reading my question
I hope someone can help me with this problem.

According to the HTC Asian WWE manual pages 115-117: QWERTY is a full onscreen QWERTY keyboard layout similar to a desktop PC keyboard.
PinYin (available by country)
PinYin lets you use the Roman Alphabet to enter Chinese characters.
Stroke (available by country)
Stroke lets you write Chinese characters based on the stroke order of the character.
Handwriting (available by country)
Handwriting lets you use your finger (by sliding it onscreen) to write Chinese characters. Slide your finger to write and then lift your finger to enter the character and show candidate characters based on the strokes you have made.

ZhuYin (available by country)
ZhuYin lets you use Mandarin Phonetic Symbols to enter Chinese characters.
CangJie (available by country)
CangJie lets you use CangJie to enter Chinese characters.
Onscreen navigation pad
Use the onscreen navigation pad for onscreen directional control.

Maybe you could try downloading the English Asian ROM from HK?

Thank you for your reply. Do you mean I can try to download official HK ROM? I already have a suitable official Asia ROM for my HD2. I'm looking for custom cooked ROM with the same input method as my default ROM.

I doubt you will find a cooked English ROM with Chinese support, at least not so soon. The type of support for Chinese in the Asian ROM apparently depends on the locality in Asia where you bought it. I know the HK Asian ROM is supposed to have support for both Simplified and Traditional Chinese, which would give you more input options. I believe you can find the ROM in the XDA-WIKI, and also some of the stickies on the first page of the Leo ROM development forum.

so.. up to now there aren't any custom WWE ROM that support chinese characters without installing CE-Star or Sunglobe? Can I extract the keyboard from my default ROM and do some modification in custom ROM so I can get the chinese characters in custom ROM I want? (I'll ask the chef for permission to do this first)

Well.. you know that you have to pay for CE-star.. I don't want to pay for that.. All I want is to get my default chinese input method in custom WWE ROM
