The issue is not the download speed. It is that applications run much much slower when the 8GB card is installed, HTC Sense takes much longer to install on startup, and all operations seem to be throttled. The phenomenon is reversible, ie when I put the 2GB card back in, speed reverts to normal. What brand/type of 16GB are you using?

The BN ereader needs an update as soon as you launch it. If you choose to proceed, it creates a second icon in the start menu called BN ereader(1), but when you launch the app again using either icon, it still needs to update.

Uninstalling the app however, removes the second icon, but also breaks the original app completely.

@Dutty

Please note that I had frequent freezes in both your HG0.7 and WWE 1.8a. Had to switch to another ROM.

yep freezes, no incoming phonecallsound, no volumecontrol.
After a phonecall often needs a softreset.
