Just a question with this sir, maybe I'm wrong/see it wrong but WM build 231xx and 290xx are WM 6.5.3 !?
will this means that you will leaf WM 6.5.5 and revert back to WM 6.5.3 ?

Or have you the attention to create your own WM 6.5.5 mix build
Just curious about this.
If you like my work buy me a beer.

Default boot screen

I have installed your ROM-s since 26 version, i think was 26. I missed one or two, but last month i gave it a try to Energy rom and soon after that (2 days) i return to Artemis.
I was surprised to notice that the boot screen remained with Energy.
can you fix that ?
i think is a matter of pride
Thank you and keep the good work!

Please correct me, if I'm wrong. You have two issues.
First: screenoff.exe sometimes doesn't work like it should.
Second: random reboots during incomming calls or messages.
And, you want to explore the cause. Because my device has no misbehaviour and I installed only a couple of apps and customisations it must be one you've installed. Please, tell me your installed apps and customizations and when I've time I will to try reproducing your problems.

Best regards
Uli
1. screenoff feature (both ScreenOff.exe as well as Anastasia) sometimes doesn't work like it should
2. there are no random reboots. Where did you take this from?
3. incoming call or SMS resets the phone for the screenoff feature to work OK again.
I have quite a lot of different progs installed but they all work OK, no conflict but this one from time to time.

What's the problem of just using the on/off switch to turn your screen to off? Or do I misinterpred your problem?

That is the main problem Sir. I am convinced your the best cook around the block, and your ROMs have been very fast, very stable and very professional. I only wish the major SO "manufacturers" would update, debug and consider userīs opinion only a tenth of how you do it... After reading a lot of the suggestions and needs of my fellow Artemis users, I must say that many of them are already either implemented or can easily be "worked around" even in older Artemis ROMs (as for example the issue with the quick links - who really needs more than 9 or 16, if he/she can a. have to the right the "programs tab with all programs as quicklinks, or b. install CHT). Other "requests" regarding system improvement make a lot of sense, but are they achievable, and at what price, or better said, what is to be sacrifyied to achieve this: functionality, stability, speed, reliability...?
In my humble and most honest opinion, I think that you have somewhat left your initial path and "stock ROM philosophy". Please donīt get me wrong, your ROMs are still the best, but there are far too many options to make it "perfect" for everybody, including or not including things.... You know best, whatīs needed for a ROM to be "Artemis" and thatīs the core issue - your ROMīs core is what makes them so special. Stick to that, and let everybody search for and install whatever custos they want, because if the basis is Artemis, the result will be far better than with any other ROM. Your "speciality" is for me the quality and "cleanlynes" of your ROM, and not the "gimmics" or "addons".
As with so many other things in life: "Less is more"

And yes, I am a very satisfied Artemis ROM user

Change from 10 to 50
i know that, but it's better if it's integrated

I misread your "device resets itself".

I'll install Anastasia Advanced End-Key and have a look on it's behaviour on my device.
1st device: German T-Mobile branded One S
2nd device: German T-Mobile branded HD2 with ARTEMIS ROM

If you have the desire to install every new version of your most-favoured ROM, then perhaps you are suffering from ORD.

"SEARCH THIS THREAD" is not a design element, try it and you will be surprised.

There is no problem in using this switch, it still works OK. But my preference is not to use hardware buttons practically at all. Everything can be done using the touch screen. From the point of the software, however, there happens to be a conflict somewhere from time to time that I need and want to remedy. Perhaps someone who encountered similar problem can advise.
