I run SSPL_RUU to try and flash RUU_Signed_0409.nbh, the phone prompts to ask if I want to run enterbootloader.exe, and I agree
The phone reboots and comes up with the RGBW white screen. The SPL being reported now is 1.42.666
Nothing else happens until the RUU comes up with a comms error.

This is not your problem:
I'm guessing the problem is with the SPL being reported as 1.42.666. If I restart the phone whilst pressing the vol down button, it reports the SPL as being 3.03.0000
Your problem is a communication error:
  1. Disable any antivirus/firewall/windows firewall
  2. "The phone reboots and comes up with the RGBW white screen. The SPL being reported now is 1.42.666. Nothing else happens"
If problem still there unplug your phone from your pc (Don't shut your phone off -Keep it on the bootloader)
  3. Restart your PC, plug in your phone until it shows USB at the bottom.
  4. Run SSPL_RUU to try and flash RUU_Signed_0409.nbh in the same folder.

Hope this helps.

Hi

Got there.
I rebooted, and got the same result as before, the LEO just left in the bootloader (displaying USB as it always had been)

I moved it onto a different USB port - and then Windows found a new piece of hardware!!! Leaving the LEO in the bootloader, I just went for it again, and now all is good

Thanks for talking sense into me!!!

Tried. Your suggestion doesn't work.

This problem might not be artemis specific. But I need a solution. As it doesnt look good on hd2 as though it is struggling to make a simple screen rotation.

Have you enabled "Full Manila Rotation" in Artemis Center app? If not, do so - soft reset and see if problem disappeared.
