I'm a big fan of Better Keyboard, unless you like the voice feature, but I never use that.
Phones: G2/Nexus
Roms: Stock/CM6
Recovery's: Stock/Amon-Ra
SDcard: 8gb Class6 /16gb Class2

Other Phones: G1,MyTouch, MDA, Sidekick

I'm waiting for an updated hTc_IME with voice functions.
Android History: T-Mobile G1 > Google Ion > T-Mobile myTouch 3G > Motorola CLIQ > Samsung Behold II > Nexus One > HTC Evo > myTouch Slide > Samsung Vibrant > T-Mobile G2 > T-Mobile myTouch4G > Samsung Nexus S > Samsung Galaxy S 4G > Motorola XOOM > T-Mobile G2x > Sony Xperia Play > LG Optimus 3D > I/O Galaxy Tab 10.1 > Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 > Samsung Galaxy S II (T-Mobile) > Samsung Galaxy Nexus LTE > Samsung Galaxy SII Skyrocket > Samsung Galaxy Note > Samsung Galaxy SIII

I can't get over how awesome the voice feature is on this thing. I think that would have to be a requirement for any replacement at this point. Once you start using it, it's hard not to (especially when looking for apps in market that you had on your old G1 ).

Current Android
myTouch 4G (plum, CM7 nightly, SwiftKey Beta, lots of testing)
T-Mobile Galaxy Tab (stock load)

Previous Android
G2 (in park, deciding if I want to sell it)
Charm (Returned)
Nexus One (Sold)
Black G1 (Sold)

Stock KB. Not a fan of Better Keyboard so until HTE.ime is updated for this resolution the Stock KB is gonna have to work and it seems to work pretty well.... better than the Droid at least.
Nexus One - Froyo 2.2 - AT&T (Retirement)
Moto Droid - VZW (Retirement)
HTC Droid Incredible - VZW
Apple iPhone 4 - AT&T

Definitely not ShapeWriter. I own Better Keyboard but I think I prefer the stock Android keyboard so far. I do miss the HTC keyboard.

Android Keyboard. I've used HTC_IME, Better Keyboard, and a half-dozen others... but the stock is just faster, smoother, and works better than any other. It's still my favorite.

I really liked touchpal on my samsung galaxy but since it doesn't work currently on the N1, i really find the improvements on the stock keyboard to be good. Its just as good as better keyboard now and the voice feature makes it a easy choice to be my keyboard of choice.
Devices:
Phones = Nexus One --> T-Mobile G2 --> HTC Sensation --> Samsung GS3
Tablets = Motorola Xoom --> Asus Transformer Prime --> ASUS Transformer Infinity --> Nexus 7

Currently Running:
CM10.1 RC2 (Samsung GS3)
SmoothROM (Nexus 7)

If the default keyboard had the swipe actions that better keyboard has it would be fine for me. But i find those faster, i also like the customization
Phones: G2/Nexus

DONATE TO ME
I like the HTC KB, but seriously... you should be able to put a SPACE when in the browser without having to go to another location.

The stock KB wins for me.
